A fascinating mountain walk, perfect for families with youths, that takes you from the Rifugio Pradalago mountain hut to the Cascina Zeledria and the Lago delle Malghette lake that you’ll encounter along the itinerary.
The starting point is near the top station of the Pradalago gondola lift. The itinerary starts off on a flat section that goes from the Lago di Pradalago lake to the Rifugio Viviani mountain hut, under the Cima Zeledria peak. From here, you'll go downwards through wide, open pastures and then through mountain pine and larch tree woods, in a northern direction, by following the n. 265 trail marker all the way to the Rifugio Malghette mountain hut and the Lago delle Malghette lake, one of the largest in the Presanella Group.
The Rifugio Lago Malghette mountain hut is in an enchanting and quiet location. It’s surrounded by coniferous forests and mountain pastures and it has a magnificent view of the Brenta Group. This outing is also recommended for families with children and youths. From here, follow the forest road and the clearly visible trail, n. 201, that descends along the tracks of the winter ski slopes until you reach Malga Zeledria, from where you can follow the paved road all the way to Passo Campo Carlo Magno.
