How to get here

The ''Doss il tempio del tempio'' can be easily reached via the cable cars from Pinzolo.

The access to the park is free and to visit it you simply need to reach the Doss del Sabion mountain hut. Doss del Sabion is easily accessible via the Pinzolo – Doss del Sabion gondola (stations 1 + 2). A large parking area is available at the valley station.

Summer Cable Car Schedules:
From June 20th to September 13th, 8:30 a.m. – 1:20 p.m. | 2:30 p.m. – 5:20 p.m.

Getting off at the top station, you’ll find the entrance to the Island of Contemplation and the Osservatorio Dolomieu Room inside the chalet. From the hut, you can take the trail to Lake Grual and the Ammonite Game (about a 40-minute walk). If you get off at the intermediate station, you’ll arrive at Prà Rodont, where you’ll find the Open-Air Atelier and the Skill Park, a biking area designed for beginners. To return to Prà Rodont, you can either follow an easy trail (approx. 2 hours) or take the gondola down.

The Ammonite Game

A gentle stroll around the alpine lake is transformed into an imaginative learning experience. Seven fantastical ammonites – each carved and brought to life through storytelling – represent different geological eras and natural values. Every stop along the way includes an activity to complete in your trail booklet, including quizzes, riddles and observation games. 

Atelier

The Open-Air Atelier

The large Prà Rodont meadow is set to host a series of playful, creative activities blending art and nature. Children (and grown-ups!) can take part in “The Disappearing Drawing” by painting with water on stone: a simple yet symbolic act. Meanwhile, a new colour is added to a large communal canvas each day as part of the "Cow Chooses the Colour" project.

OSSERVATORIO DOLOMIEU

The immersive room dedicated to geological evolution. Floor and walls come alive with synchronized video projections and sound effects that guide visitors on an emotional journey through ammonites, a tropical sea, the birth of mountain ranges, and glaciations.
Screenings are scheduled daily at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Forest Zipline

Starting in mid-July 2026 
It offers 500 meters of pure adrenaline in total safety and in respect of nature. A sustainable experience suitable for the whole family: thanks to the double harness system, even the youngest participants (min. 110 cm) can enjoy it together with their parents. An exciting 6–8 minute journey immersed in the nature of the Dolomiti di Brenta awaits you.

The Island of Contemplation

Marco Nones’ artistic installations — the Orogenesi chaise longues, the Emozioni al Cubo platform, and the sculptural Nuvole Basse seating — are tools designed to amplify perception and to mindfully contemplate the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello range.

Doss del Sabion refuge

Rifugio Doss del Sabion is the ideal place to begin a journey through time and, in the end, to find yourself again with a sense of wonder in your eyes. Breakfasts with a view, gourmet lunches, snacks, and afternoon treats accompany every moment of the day, surrounded by authentic flavors and the quiet of high altitude, between the Dolomiti di Brenta and the Adamello.

EVENTS AT DOSS

During the summer, the Doss also becomes a stage for high-altitude events such as the Mountain Beat Festival, panoramic sunset concerts, family activities, outdoor experiences, and events immersed in the nature of the Dolomiti di Brenta.

No reservation is required. You only need to purchase a lift ticket and comfortably reach the area by cable car.

The Forest Zipline requires a separate ticket, which can be purchased directly at Rifugio Prà Rodont.

The “Gioco delle Ammoniti” trail takes about 40 minutes on foot from the hut and leads to Lake Grual along a wide gravel path immersed in nature, also suitable for trekking strollers.

The outward route is mostly downhill, while the return to Rifugio Doss del Sabion is entirely uphill. For this reason, it is recommended to evaluate the route based on children’s ages and the time available.

We recommend suitable footwear, a water bottle, and comfortable clothing. There are no food or service facilities near Lake Grual.
All of this is set in the natural surroundings of the Dolomiti di Brenta.
