New! Pradalago 2100 Playground - Madonna di Campiglio
UNDER CONSTRUCTION - THE AREA WILL BE READY BY THE END OF SUMMER
In Madonna di Campiglio, near the Pradalago Gondola Car arrival station, there is a new family area, where kids can enjoy nature, play and discover the territory.
Once the entire project is completed, it will include 2 free-access playgrounds for different age groups, integrated within the alpine environment, by using mainly natural materials such as larch and false acacia.
The first playground is designed for little kids, and is located in the flat section, near the Pradalago Alpine Hut. It will include a double swing with differentiated seating and the “Baby Brenta”, a multifunctional structure with small climbing trails and slides inspired by Dolomite geology. The structure resembles the layout of the surrounding mountains, including tonalites and limestone rocks, turning fun into an initial discovery of the area.
The second playground will be dedicated to older children and teenagers. A more dynamic space will take shape along the initial stretch of the Amazzonia track, with a large panoramic slide (which will be completed during the summer), a wooden marbles track about 30-meter long and a water game.
The project will also include improvements to the Lake Pradalago area, with the the construction of a new footpath connecting the gondola car arrival station to the lake, making it accessible also to families with buggies. In addition to the playful dimension, Pradalago 2100 will also hold an educational value. Some of the installations will be inspired by local fauna and geological elements - such as the “Vole tunnel” in the panoramic slide, which open at the beginning of September - as part of the broader project to enhance Lake Pradalago, promoted by the Adamello Brenta Nature Reserve, in collaboration with the MUSE - Trento Science Museum.
The resulting space will hold great edutational venue. A place where little ones can move around explore and learn, while adults enjoy some of the SkiArea's most impressive views.
