After an early end of the winter season and a long lockdown, the SkiArea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena can’t wait to start up again and to provide endless fun for its guests in the great outdoors, even in the summer, guaranteeing the freedom of a vacation in safe surroundings with friends and family.
The summer season will officially start on July 04 when the lifts in Folgarida Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo will open with the new summer schedule. However, starting on June 27, there will be an early season opening in Madonna di Campiglio with the opening of the Grostè gondola.
Therefore, until September 06, everyone looking forward to discovering, either on foot or by bike, some of the most beautiful mountains and landscapes in the Dolomites, to get in touch with nature in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and to take in the clean, fresh mountain air surrounded by wide open spaces, can also safely and easily use the lifts within the SkiArea.
During the past few months of almost complete lockdown, the SkiArea didn’t stop working but it continued to prepare for the reopening and the start of the summer season, and of course, for the next 2020-2021 winter season. The SkiArea had to identify and adopt safety measures that would guarantee maximum safety for its guests, but, at the same time, it also had to improve and enhance its tourism services and experiences.
In fact, the summer version of Ski.it has just been launched. This web portal was created last winter season to combine the websites of all three lift companies that together make up the SkiArea: Funivie Folgarida Marilleva spa, Funivie Madonna di Campiglio spa, and Funivie Pinzolo spa. Information, news, and updates concerning the SkiArea, can now be conveyed in a coordinated manner through a single communication channel.
The summer version of Ski.it, together with the new Outdoor Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta logo, provides information while enhancing and promoting all outdoor experiences and activities that are in some way linked to the use of the lifts: from high mountain hikes and via ferratas to mountain bike routes and even river sports, plus paragliding and biking on the cycling paths. Combining all of the above information has created the description of a single territory, that although it extends across two different neighbouring valleys - Val di Sole and Val Rendena – can now be identified under one single brand, Outdoor Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta.
It’s now possible to search for information based on the type of vacation experience you’re interested in. Family-friendly activities can be found in the Family section, the Bike, Trek & Fun section focuses on active vacations and adrenaline-packed sports which include hiking, climbing and biking, just to name a few, while the Slow Mountain section provides interesting suggestions for guests that want to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
The SkiArea is therefore ready to welcome everyone on its mountains, whether they are nature lovers, families, hiking or biking enthusiasts.
