IT’S FINALLY TIME TO SKI
The SkiArea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brentaopens on
Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17, 2019
On Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17, 2019 skiing officially starts in the SkiArea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena.Favourable weather conditions, that have already provided abundant snowfall from the base to the top of the mountains, have made it possible for the largest Skiarea in Trentino to start this year’s season early. Therefore,all winter sports enthusiasts have the chance to enjoy the slopes early this season.
Madonna di Campigliowill be the first area to open, with access to more than 12 kilometers of ski slopes from a height of 2.500 meters on theCima Grosté peak to 1.650 meters in the Fortini area.
This weekend, on Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17, the Funivie Madonna di Campiglio SpAlift company will keep the following lifts open non-stop from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm: the two sections of the Grosté gondola lift, the Grosté Express6-person chairlift with automatic coupling and the 4-person Rododendro Express and Boch Express chairlifts.It will therefore be possible to ski on the following slopes: Graffer (n. 60), Corna Rossa (n. 61), Lame (n. 64), Boch (n. 71), Variante Boch (n. 72), Spinale Diretta (n. 73)all the way to the Montagnoli mountain hut, andFortini(n. 77) in addition to the top part of theUrsus Snowpark–weather permitting. It will be possible to return to the bottom along the Spinale Diretta and Fortini slopes.
The Stoppani, Graffer, Boch and Montagnoli mountain huts will be open for lunch or a break.
Ski passes can be purchased at the Grosté and 5 Laghiticket offices from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (open all day). During the first ski opening weekend, ski passes will be sold at a special promotional price.
Daily ski pass: 31 Euros for adults, 22 Euros for juniors and 16 Eurosfor children under age 8.
Two-day ski pass:59 Euros for adults, 41 Eurosfor Juniors and 29 Euros for children under age 8.
Starting on Saturday November 23, 2019 the lifts in Madonna di Campiglio will re-open and they will remain open until the end of the season.Then, on December 05, 2019 the lifts in Folgarida Marilleva and Pinzolo will also open. Thesnowmakers and snow groomers of the SkiArea’sthree lift companies – Funivie Folgarida Marilleva SpA, Funivie Madonna di Campiglio SpA and Funivie PinzoloSpA – are working at full speed to prepare all of the 150 kilometers of interlinked slopes between Val di Sole and Val Rendena in order to guarantee top quality skiing conditions.
