Optimism is growing and we can’t wait to restart. After ending a winter season, that unfortunately never started, the Outdoor Area Campiglio Dolomiti di Brentais all decked out for summer and it’s getting ready to safely welcome tourists that decide to choose the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the mountains in Val di Sole and Val Rendena, in Trentino, for their summer holiday destination. Lifts will once again open starting on June 5th 2021 up until September 26th 2021.
The first lifts to open will be the Daolasa 1 & Daolasa 2 gondolas in Folgarida Marilleva, followed by the Grosté gondola in Madonna di Campiglio, and the Pinzolo – Prà Rodont gondola in Pinzolo, on June 19th. On June 26th it will be the Prà Rodont – Doss del Sabion chairlift’s turn in Pinzolo, then on July 1st the Folgarida and Panciana gondolas and lastly on July 3rd, the Spinale, 5 Laghi and Pradalago gondolas in Madonna di Campiglio.
Throughout the entire summer and right up to the end of September, hikers, bikers and families will safely and easily be able to reach the mountain tops thanks to the lifts in Folgarida Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo. Here, they’ll find endless starting points for trekking itineraries, mountain bike routes and various walks and hikes for all levels, to experience fantastic adventures in the great outdoors surrounded by the pristine, natural environment of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. The Outdoor Area is, in fact, the perfect place to fully enjoy each and every day of your vacation with thousands of different ways to have fun, relax and the chance to try numerous sports, all in a safe manner that will ensure social distancing.
Mountain enthusiasts will be able to walk along the most fascinating hiking trails in the Dolomites. Families with children will be able to enjoy the sun and a lovely lakeside day at the Lago Montagnoli lake in Madonna di Campiglio, or on the shores of the Lago Grual lake in Pinzolo, that has perfectly blended into the natural alpine setting of the area, now that work to create this lake has been completed. Bikers, whether they’re experts or beginners, will finally be able to put them selves to the test on specifically designed mountain bike tracks as they bike their way through the heart of the woods, or they can take on the challenge of trying the tracks of the Outdoor Area’s two Bike Parks: the Brenta Bike Park, in Pinzolo, with four different tracks that will take bikers from Doss del Sabionall the way down to Prà Rodont, and the Bike Park Val di Sole in Daolasa, located in the municipality of Commezzadura, where thrill-seeking bikers can try the tracks that have become famous due to all the international mountain biking events held here, and they can also try all of the improvements that have recently been made. Both facilities will open when the lifts in each area will also open: access to the Bike Park Val di Sole will start on June 5th until September 26th, while the Brenta Bike Parkwill be open from June 26th to September 12th.
And to add even more excitement to a summer holiday in the mountains, a series of special events will also take place. One of the most anticipated events, which unfortunately was cancelledlast summer because of the pandemic, are the Mountain Bike World Championships which will be held in Daolasa from August 25th -29th2021. This will be a record breaking edition that for the very first time will award the rainbow jersey for six different disciplines (Cross Country, Team Relay, Downhill, Four-Cross, E-MTB and Short Track).
