And for those who come to ski in the Val di Sole this winter … the train is free!

Throughout the winter, there are numerous trains with convenient schedules that allow you to reach the Val di Sole slopes free of charge on the Dolomiti Express. That’s because Funivie Folgarida Marilleva Spa is offering a discount on the daily ski pass for Folgarida-Marilleva that is equivalent to the price of a return train ticket to all skiers who take the Dolomiti Express to come to Daolasa or Marilleva 900 (excluding the Christmas holidays from 26 December 2009 to 3 January 2010).
To promote use of the train, parking at the Trento station of the Trento – Malè – Marilleva railway will also be free.
In Trento, the terminal of the Trento - Malè - Marilleva 900 railway is just a few metres from the Trenitalia (Italian Rail) station: you simply alight from a high-speed train or Intercity, walk a few metres and board the Dolomiti Express.
