MARILLEVA

A combination of villages at the base and midway up the slope, with large tourist accommodations providing all the necessary services, and offering direct access to runs and plenty of opportunities for "apres ski" 
An impressive ski area, integrated with Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio, summing up a total of 120 Km beautiful slopes between the Brenta Dolomites and the Ortles Cevedale group.

Place

Marilleva accommodations are constructed in two levels: Marilleva 1400 (from where all lifts towards Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio leave) and Marilleva 900 situated at the bottom of the valley close to the town of Mezzana. The connection between the two locations is guaranteed by a 12-person high-speed gondola. The lifts and the village (hotels, residences, and timesharing apartments sums up to more than 10.000 beds) have been designed at maximum functionality and thereby eliminating the need for car use during the vacation in the mountains. The resort is then characterized by the presence of large complexes such as the "Valtur village", providing services and direct access to the slope . Marilleva also hosts important events such as TheInternational Congress of Cardiology.

Those who prefer the charm and traditions of mountain villages can stay in Mezzana, Ossana, Pellizzano or in any other of the accommodating locations in Val di Sole and Val di Pejo. From these villages the lifts in Marilleva can be reached in a few minutes by means of the free bus service NeveBus or with the frequent transport services run by individual hotels.

Marilleva atmosphere offers a number of services such as covered parking, meeting/congress rooms, shops, ski and snowboard rental, restaurants, bars, discos, games, swimming pool and fitness centers in various tourist buildings. At Marilleva 1400 you can find the new Stadium for night skiing which has been created on the Biancaneve "snowwhite" piste to host the spectacular HalfPipe competition in the Snowboard World Championship, that took place in Val di Sole in January 1999. If you wish, in the evening you can go over your ski lesson again, participate in the evening race for the visitors or assist the fascinating torchlight processions with the inevitable vin brulè in the end, that is organized by the ski-school. At Marilleva 900 you can play indoor tennis or skate in the nearby sports center in Mezzana. u!
